Welcome to my blog and thanks for stopping by!
Born in Paris, France, I am a passionate learner and educator who began my schooling in the French national system, then later moved to England and gained my qualifications in London. I am very passionate about learning and teaching language and I love travelling; I have taught at international schools in Kenya, Tanzania, Tunisia and now Switzerland. Learning a new language can be daunting, but I aspire to make every one of my students’ language experiences a rewarding and fulfilling one. I aim to nurture their inquisitiveness and desire to learn in an environment that is comfortable and conducive to risk-taking and trying to converse in a different language.
We are fortunate to have small classes at so I am able to give my students lots of individual attention and cater to each of their specific learning needs. I have high expectations for every one of the learners in my class and I will do all that I can to help them achieve those expectations.
Parents, please feel free to email me or stop by my classroom for a chat after school; you are welcome to see that the work that your child is doing in class and see some of the activities that we do as a group. Alternatively, if you would like some ideas on ways to support your child at home, or if you have any questions, comments or concerns, I would be happy to be of assistance.
Thank you for your commitment to your child’s language learning. I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year!
