The celebration continues!
Today we shared the joy of learning languages with Pre-K and Kindergarten students. We invited the youngest members of our school to listen to stories read in different languages and the German students even prepared an impressive puppet show! The children loved listening to the stories, especially when they recognised what it was about. It is empowering to know that you can understand the gist of a story even if you don’t know the exact words being used. Can you guess what this story was about?
Grades 1 and 2 had an exciting afternoon decorating Tunisian pottery known as ‘kanoun’, ‘darbouka’ and ‘qulla’. It was great fun all around!
The day ended with a presentation on spices and a Tunisian food tasting session for the After School World Language students.
